Luchador Shiraz 2006

Comments: Dark red/purple wine with loads of fruit on the nose and palate. There are also hints of cinnamon and coffee on the tongue along with all the black and blue fruit. Smooth tannin, long finish. This wine is somewhat overwhelming for most food and probably is best drunk with a strong meat and sauce (barbecue) or alone. It is not as syrupy as some of the Aussies are, but it is not a subtle wine at 15.5% alcohol. Still, at 17$ it is hard to knock
