Francis Coppola Diamond Collection Black Label Claret 2004

Comments: I picked this bottle up on the way to an Oscar party, which seemed appropriate. It turned out to be a good wine with some strong flavors. This was definitely a wine that demanded some airing out. Since it was a party, a few of us made the mistake of drinking it upon opening it. Thus the second glass was richer than the first glass. We were drinking the wine with assorted fruit, strawberries, raspberries, and grapes, and some were also having homemade chili. The food seemed to go well with the wine.
