Alamos Malbec 2005

Comments: Dark almost purple to the eye. The nose is fruity and spicy, the palate is fruit, spice and hint of tannin. The wine drank a lot better with food (roasted chicken) than it did alone. Alone it was almost overpowering with a heavy sweetness that hung on after the first taste. Not terrible, but not one I would seek out.
