About groups
Vinorati tasting groups are a simple and interesting way to gather wine reviews. Groups may be made up of members who actually taste wines together, or who want to share wines with each other, or simply members who share an interest in a region, winemaker, or wine style. It's completely up to the creator of the group.
Group tasting journals may be organized into "clusters" of reviews which might correspond to events (eg. "Thursday Tasting #7" or "Price Blind California Cab Tasting"), or to themes (eg. "Wines We Loved in 2006", "Our Favourite Wines from the Rhone").
You must join a group to be able to submit reviews to it's clusters, but everyone can see the clusters' reviews and tag cloud. Group members can submit a review to a cluster when first reviewing the wine, or later from within their tasting journal (Click on "Details" for the desired wine.)
